Welcome

The Division of Instruction and the Department of Instructional Technology are extremely excited to announce the launch of a new tool that will allow you to access all the district supported databases.  Aurora Public Schools is the first district in Colorado to launch this tool and we are one of twelve in the nation to pioneer this tool.  Discovery Education One Place will allow you to spend more time teaching and less time searching for resources to support your instruction.  Students will be more successful in finding resources to support their learning.

Below is a list of our databases and resources.

Nettrekker
is a search engine for K-12 students that now reaches 10 million kids in 19,000 schools through all 50 states.  NetTrekker employs 400 teachers throughout the summer to vet web sites that the search engine links to, which now number about 180,000. The site is organized by elementary, middle, and high school, so students can search information that fits their grade levels.

Here are a few features:

• A text-to-speech option for auditory learners.
• A timeline maker that allows kids to put in dates of events and biographical info of historical figures and  make a timeline.
• Saved Searches—kids can save research and links they've found while working on several projects.
